Ellie made a delicious cake with rainbow sprinkles yesterday. Cooking with Ellie is such a joy. She is such a good helper.

Letter Campaign

This morning I wrote the second letters for a little project I have been putting together for the girls. Each year in January, I want to write a note to them and let them know how much I love them and tell them the little things they do that I might not remember when they are old enough to appreciate it. Each of the girls has two letters in her stack to date. I started last year when I was still pregnant with Nora, so this will be the first letter for her that references actual events, feelings, and general cuteness. I hope that I can keep this up throughout the years, and I hope it is something the girls appreciate once I hand them over to them.

Steps Forward

Today Nora has really started letting go and taking steps all on her own. She has been cruising the furniture for a while now but hasn't really taken steps without holding on. 10 months is when Ellie started taking real steps as well. It must be a family thing :-)

Of course I didn't snap any photos of the actual events because I didn't have a camera handy, but I did get a nice shot of some of our snuggle time after the fact.
